Hand-Washing:Unthread your ring sling. Fill a basin with cold water and add a small amount of liquid detergent free of optical brighteners or softener. Gently swish your sling around up to one minute. You may see some dye seep into the water, but don't panic! This is normal. Remove the sling from the water and gently squeeze the fabric to remove excess water. We recommend rolling the sling into a towel to remove excess water. Hang the sling or lay it out flat to dry. Be sure to keep it out of direct sunlight to keep it from fading. You can also place the sling in the dryer on the lowest heat setting, but be sure to remove it as soon as it is dry. Once the sling is dry, you can soften the linen and achieve a crisp look by setting your iron to the hottest setting and press the sling using lots of steam.

Machine Wash: Unthread your sling. Prior to placing the sling in the machine, place a tight sock over the rings to protect them.
