Two Lengths/Sizes: One size does not fit all (comfortably at least)! To provide the maximum comfort to all bodies, we offer the Lark Baby Carrier in two sizes: Short & Long.
Tall & Supportive Panel: The Lark Baby Carrier has tall and supportive panel that grows with your child, providing them with the comfort and support they need as they grow! Can be used from 10-45 pounds. Best for babies in size 3-6 month clothing and up.
Wide Cross-Back Straps: Say goodbye to bulky, hard-to-use straps! Our carrier features wide cross-back straps that distribute your baby's weight evenly, so you can wear it for longer without feeling the strain.
Lightweight Padding: Experience ultimate comfort and breathability with our carrier's lightweight padding. You'll stay cool and comfortable, no matter where your adventures take you!

- Short: Best suited for those who wear fitted t-shirts in women's sizes XXS-L.
- Long: Ideal for those who wear fitted t-shirts in women's sizes XL-6X.
To achieve the best fit, it's important to select the size based on your regular fitted t-shirt size. There’s no need to size up!

The Lark Carrier is safety tested for babies and toddlers from 10 to 45 pounds!
It has a taller panel for longevity, so we find it works best with kids wearing size 3m clothes and up!
No, you can’t! While there are carriers out there that let you face your baby towards the world while wearing, the Lark is not one of them!
We wrote more on why we designed it without that feature here.
We find most families do just fine with front and back carry options. If you find your little one is eager to look at the world when being worn, we recommend a back carry or trying out a hip carry in one of our ring slings!

Absolutely! You can start back carrying with children who have good head control and can sit unassisted, so around 6 months old. The Lark comes with a chest strap, which you’ll put on when you want to back carry.
The IHDI stopped accepting product submissions for certification before the development of the Lark Baby Carrier, so it has not been formally certified.
That said, we’ve made sure the Lark is designed to provide substantial support for your little one’s butt and thighs, which is key for healthy hip development. Unlike ring slings or wraps, you don’t need to worry about getting your baby’s body into that deep M shape—what matters is supporting their thighs so gravity doesn’t pull on their hips (no dangling legs here!).

We offer two lengths/sizes, Short and Long. Our Short waistband accommodates waists up to 45” and our Long waistband accommodates up to 65". Sizing suggestions are based on fitted women's shirt sizes!
