The Faces Behind Those Carriers You're About to be Obsessed With

Meet Skye & Mallory

Two best friends who got fed up with carriers that didn't fit, prints that were boring, and an industry that acted like plus-size parents didn't exist.

So we said "screw it" and started hope&plum in 2018. Seven years later, we're still making carriers that actually work for all bodies, creating prints that make you stop and stare, and proving that ethical manufacturing and safety aren't just nice ideas: they're the baseline.

Welcome to the anti-boring, actually-size-inclusive, no-BS carrier company. 💜

Co-Founder - Marketing & Legal (The sass and the fine print)

HI, I'M SKYE!

After my traumatic birth, babywearing became how I bonded with my daughter, and honestly? I fell in love with it. But here's the thing: the baby carrier world was frustrating. The FOMO. The judgement.

So we created hope&plum: carriers that actually fit well, in prints you'll love, with a community that lifts you up instead of stressing you out. No FOMO. No judgment. Just baby carriers that make your life easier.

Today, I handle marketing and legal. So yeah, I make the cheeky videos AND read the very boring contracts. Living the dream. 💜

Co-Founder - Warehouse & Operations (Gets it to your door)

Hi, I'M MALLORY!

I'm a certified babywearing educator and mom of 3 who've been carried through grocery store meltdowns, toddler tantrums, and approximately 10,000 diaper changes. I love babywearing, but I got really tired of carriers that claimed to be "one size fits all" when they clearly only fit some bodies comfortably.

As a plus-size parent, I was done with extenders and an industry that treated my body like an afterthought. Size inclusivity isn't a nice-to-have for us: it's the entire point.

Today, I oversee our warehouse, quality control, and fulfillment teams. We make sure every carrier that leaves our warehouse is perfect and gets to you on time. 💜
