Returns/Cancellations
We try to make returns and exchanges as easy as possible! Here's what you need to know. 👇

Returns
Returns are accepted only within the US. International orders (including Canada) are final sale. Discounted items (other than first-time purchase codes) are also final sale.
- For a refund: Return within 20 days of delivery
- For store credit: Return within 30 days of delivery
Original shipping charges and Package Protection are non-refundable. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
What qualifies for return?
You're welcome to try on your carrier to ensure proper fit. We want you to love it! However, we can't accept returns on carriers that have been worn beyond a quick try-on. Because we can't resell used carriers (it's a sanitation and safety thing!), items that show signs of wear or have been soiled can't be returned. This includes pet hair, perfume, food, signs of washing, bodily fluids, tears, or removed tags.
All returns must include the original packaging and tags intact.
How to return
Start your return at our Return Portal. Please ship in a box (not a mailer). All returns include a handling fee that covers a prepare return shipping label for ease.Â
After we receive your return
Allow up to five business days for inspection and two to three business days for the refund to hit your card. Refunds are issued to your original payment method or as store credit, depending on your selection in the portal. We don't issue refund checks for returned gifts.
If something doesn't pass inspection, we'll email you with the details and can send it back to you at your expense.
Outside your return window?
No worries! You can resell your item through our Pre-Loved Marketplace directly to another customer.
Shipping delays
We can't control Mother Nature (or the occasional courier hiccup). hope&plum isn't responsible for delays caused by severe weather, natural disasters, or other shipping issues.
Order Changes or Cancellations
Need to cancel or make a change to your order? Here's what to know:
Cancellations: Send us an email within 1 hour of placing your order. Unfortunately, we're unable to process cancellations after that window as orders move quickly into fulfillment!
Edits & Additions: Need to swap a color, adjust a length, or add an item? Contact us within the first 24 hours of placing your order and we'll do our best to help.
After those windows have passed, we're unable to make changes — but our team is always happy to help explore other options as needed!
