PACKAGE PROTECTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Thank you for choosing to protect your purchase with our Package Protection service. Please carefully review these Terms & Conditions before opting into the package protection. By selecting this service, you agree to be bound by the following terms.

What is Package Protection?

Our Package Protection is a service designed to provide coverage in the event your order is lost, damaged, or stolen during transit. It is important to note that this service is not insurance and does not provide the same legal protections as an insurance product. It is a non-insurance service intended to offer peace of mind while your package is in transit.

What Does Package Protection Cover?

Package Protection covers:
- Lost items: If your package is confirmed as missing by the carrier and is not delivered within the standard delivery window.
- Damaged items: If your items are damaged upon delivery and are reported within 7 days of receipt.
- Stolen items: If your package is confirmed as stolen after delivery and the tracking information shows successful delivery.

What Package Protection Does Not Cover

- Normal Wear and Tear: This service does not cover damages that occur from normal usage or wear.
- Packages Delayed in Transit: If your package is delayed but still arrives, Package Protection will not cover the delay.
- Incorrect Address: If an incorrect address is provided, Package Protection will not cover any lost or misdelivered items.
- Packages Not Delivered to the Address Provide*: If the package is left in an unsafe or inappropriate location by the carrier (e.g., outside of a building or at an incorrect location), it is not covered.
- Items Exempted by the Shipping Carrier: Certain carriers or items may have additional limitations that restrict the coverage.

Not an Insurance Product

By purchasing Package Protection, you acknowledge that this is a service, not an insurance policy. Package Protection does not carry the same legal or regulatory requirements as an insurance product and is not regulated by insurance authorities. This service is provided as a convenience to you, but it is not subject to the laws or protections governing traditional insurance products.

How to File a Claim

To initiate a claim, please follow the steps below:
- Report the Issue: Contact us within 7 days of delivery for damaged or stolen items, or 14 days if the package is lost.
- Provide Documentation: You may be asked to provide evidence of the damage, missing package, or theft, such as photos, carrier tracking details, and proof of purchase. If your package was stolen, a police report and case number will be required.
- Resolution: Once your claim is processed, we will either replace your item or issue a store credit for the amount paid, at our discretion. We aim to resolve most claims within 6-11 business days. The timeline might vary depending on the details of the case and how quickly we hear back from the carrier.

Limitations and Liability

We are not responsible for any damage, loss, or injury that may arise from the use or inability to use Package Protection. This service is provided "as is" and is subject to availability. Our total liability for any claim under this service is limited to the purchase price of the item(s) covered by the claim.

Cancellation of Package Protection

You may cancel Package Protection before your order is shipped by contacting us directly. Once your order has been shipped, you cannot cancel the package protection.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to amend or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated via our website, and the updated Terms & Conditions will take effect immediately upon posting.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
