After our baby came at 24 weeks, we missed out on so many of the traditional early parenting experiences, and forming a bond was harder when mediated by tubes and machines and NICU schedules. Once we could come home, baby wearing helped me to form a deep bond with our son and enabled me to survive with a kid who didn’t nap, ever. It’s also been a vital disability aid. I physically couldn’t carry our baby without ergonomic support, and hope&plum has been life changing in that regard.

I have bizarrely good spatial awareness. I can tell if something will fit in a gap or container just by eyeballing it with frightening accuracy.
