They're made by A-B Emblem in Weaverville, North Carolina (the same folks who've been making NASA mission patches since 1970 and Girl Scout badges for generations). How to Apply:

1. Set iron to medium-high heat (no steam)
2. Place patch on fabric, embroidered side up
3. Cover with thin cloth or pressing paper
4. Press firmly for 30-45 seconds
5. Let cool, then check edges—repeat if needed
6. For extra security, you can also stitch around the edges
